I thought rise of cobra was really good. Much better than the one with the rock. Iirc the budget for the 1st one was like twice the one that had the rock in it. It feels like somebody wrote a five-part pilot for a series based around invaders from Atlantis (or some other "lost empire") and then it got rejected and repurposed as a G.I. Joe movie. When I think of G.I. Joe, I typically don't think of giant bugs, a winged mutant, or a man who is a snake below the waistline -- though I did have a Golobulus toy as a child.
