Mr. Beast videos always seemed off to me, like he'd be walking down the street with his crew and offer one of them $500 to jump a fence and run through a guy's yard or something. At least back then, it felt like he was manipulating people with money and it came off really shittily - just a bunch of sycophantic yes-men being personal monkeys for this rich douchebag so he'd give them money, like that episode of the Simpsons, and Mr. Beast more than happy to fill the role. It's great that he paid for all those blind people to get restorative eyesight surgery, but I still get a really off feeling about him. That's more of a me thing though, like I'm waiting for a shoe to drop but maybe there's no shoe y'know. What I can say definitively is that I don't like him.
