No, there isn't.

The only way that multiple YOUs could exist in different universes is if there's some manner of predestination.

You exist because of a genetic lottery and nothing more. If somebody's father had shot their load fifteen seconds sooner or five seconds later, a different sperm would have likely hit the egg and that person would have been replaced by their sibling.

And if you want to talk about alternate histories, what happens in that timeline where your great-grandfather didn't survive the war? That ends your bloodline. That means no you. Or maybe the war didn't happen because the person most responsible for the war was never born in that universe.

Life isn't a simulation with infinite slight alterations. It's just a series of dice being rolled at the same time and, if literally anything were different, everything we know would be wildly different or wouldn't be at all.

I don't really give much of a shit about multiverse theory. All those kinds of narratives ever amount to is, "some things are different but some things are the same, isn't that weird?"

IRL it's kinda vaguely interesting to consider, I guess, but I doubt it's something we ever ever prove or will effect us in the slightest.

There's also not even a shred of evidence that multiverse theory is real. Now yes it follows: we discovered we weren't the only planet, we discovered we weren't the only solar system, we discovered we weren't the only galaxy, discovering that we aren't the only universe is the next logical step.

But there ain't no fucking way I'm buying that there's infinite universes.

I made friends with a guy that worked at my place of work. I was 18 and we were the same age, at 18 I was basically conservative due to growing up in a place that is really conservative, we had gone to elementary school together so we were basically reconnecting and he invited me over to meet some friends. They ended up being Nazis and while I was in a bit of a shitty place and was prime demographic for what they were looking at, what really got me and truly ended up pushing me in the complete opposite direction was their insistence that one of my best friends that I had grown up with and knew 100% would always have my back would turn on me in "the race war."

That's when I knew they were fuckong idiots and I couldn't associate with people that stupid.

But none of those infinitely many versions of you are you in any meaningful sense. You aren't responsible for the Trump version. The existence of the Trump version does not reflect badly on you.

It's just maths. A finite number of possibilities in an infinite setting.
