I honestly didn't play any of the whole series as I just wasn't that big into flight based games that weren't Tie Fighter or X-Wing on the PC at the time. >_>

It reviewed really well and Sega kids in particular speak highly about the series as a whole and I can totally see the appeal though!

I got super into Desert Strike, but kind of burned myself out by the time Jungle Strike came along. Still, it was definitely an awesome sequel. The mission based open world type of maps were super fun to actually do the mission, but also tool around in and find weird secrets.

No, but I did play Soviet Strike and Nuclear Strike on the PS1, which were a lot of fun.

Yeah it was great. Pretty fucking hard though. Surprised theyve not remastered them.

Often enough have I played the series.

But I don't think on Genesis.

I only played Desert Strike and Jungle Strike. None of the rest. I played Desert Strike much more the previous year. Desert Strike was one of my favorite games on Genesis.

I think it is because I was in high school and when Desert Strike came out I was a sophomore and didn't go out as much and Jungle Strike came out my junior year and I was constantly gone.

By the time Urban Strike came out I was graduating and leaving for the military in 1994. The other two games came out while I was in the military and I just didn't game much in that period of my life. I was far too busy and active then.

No... but it reminded me of a similar type of game I played on PS1 called Nuclear Strike. I haven't thought of that in forever.. man, I sucked at that game. Don't think I ever got past the second or maybe even first level.

Not surprising it reminded you of Nuclear Strike since its the same series.

Soviet and Nuclear aren't as good as the Mega Drive ones IMO.

They aren't even close.

I played just the snes ones.

They were game I didn't love much, but didn't hate.

They were just... kinda... there.

No mistakes in design kinda game, but also not too memorable.

I am sure I rented one of them, Desert Strike seems about right but it made no impression on me. I voted no. It was a popular series back then.

Briefly. Our family owned Desert Strike. I either played Jungle Strike at a friend's house or we rented it.

Ain't many K games for Genesis. Not very good games besides Krusty's Super Fun House.

Don't remember if it was that one in particular but I played a couple of games almost exactly like it on SNES. I think it was Jungle Strike and Desert Strike, but I liked Desert Strike better.
