The first person I told this to calls it a conspiracy theory. I can see their point but give me a better explanation for Texas and Florida bussing healthy motivated and exploitable labor to Chicago.

Here is the theory. The UAW contract expired and auto workers are on strike. Chicago Mayor is asking Biden to fast track work permits. Both of these are predictable outcomes.

The migrants who were bussed to Chicago are primarily Venezuelans and Venezuela has a crashed auto industry.

That is it assuming CE can figure out I am implying Big Auto will predict that former auto workers from Venezuela will be scabbing during the strike.

TCs theory is that red states are bussing migrants to Blue States as part of some secret coordinated effort to thwart unionization by having enough Auto workers from Venezuela be in the Chicago / Detroit area so that rather than strike a deal with the Union, car companies will just replace everyone with migrants.

America offers a work permit which lets people work for a particular employer - only. These permits were applied for before putting families on the bus.

Asylum seekers can't apply for a work permit till they apply for asylum. You have a year after you enter to apply for asylum, then 6 months for the work permits after that.

1. There are no studies to back up this claim. The number of asylum seekers is driven by drought, trade restrictions, civil strife and oppression. It is not as though our quality of life, public education and city services are superior.

2. LA, NYC and CHI cannot manage the new people and jobs will let them take care of themselves.

What claim? If anybody can walk in and get a work permit, millions would want to come here. Yes, things are definitely way better here than many of these countries. This is not even my claim. It's what the Biden administration is saying and I'm sure they know better than some guy peddling conspiracies.

60-80% of asylum seekers are rejected because most of them are economic migrants that just want a better life. That's not eligible for asylum and just clogs it up for actual people seeking asylum.

They will not be able to afford NYC whether they work legally or not. You need to make 40x rent to be able to rent in NYC. They will still be dependent on social services and just be poor like other people already living in poverty in NYC, now having to compete with them with jobs, housing and social services.

Yeah, you're right. This is unsubstantiated nonsense with nothing backing it up. Worker visas are an entirely different thing.

Venezuela does have internet but they do not have public libraries with free Internet. There is no way for the average person to tell what is real news.
