Two absurdly close matches here, though they both took very different shapes. Match 1 was always tight but Storm Eagle never held the lead once during the match. Meanwhile Spark was up 10-2 on Skyway at one point before the comeback began! MMX must settle for 1/2 today, and we are now out of fangame music, to the rejoicing of some of you I'm sure!

Skyway really exceeded my expectations, dang. I'm happy to know so many people liked it. I might nominate it for next VGMC - would be curious to see how it does in that setting.

I love those and I'm not much above you. Only 3 MM2 songs got in including the worst one Metal Man, which Air Man lost to. The top 4 X songs got in at least but only 1 is still left. I don't like Opening or Boomer Kuwanger nearly as much as the other 4. As for 3 Title is great and is a force but that's just 1 song; the other 2 lost in round 1 (actually I have a nagging feeling there was a 4th but it's not listed as such, whatever).

There were 4 tracks in the contest that originated in MM3 but two of them are arrangements (Rockman 3 Ending and Snake Man).

For the second round in a row, the most famous track in the series squeaks by its opponent. Departure showed its early beatdowns weren't flukes and put up a good fight, but it wasn't quite enough. Jakob on the other hand managed to take down its MM2 opponent with relative ease and is now set to take on the other!
