Well it really is linked to inflation, and competition. You do not have to be the cheapest buy 3 dollars.. only the cheapest by one. This, also IMO the quality has actually improved in the past few years so the small price bump isnt even an issue for me. A large pizza with crazy combo is like $11 after tax, which is cheaper than some other places for just a medium pizza. It wasnt worth $5. Little Caesers almost went bankrupt years ago because the pizza sucked so bad. They rebounded by making it dirt cheap and having it ready at all times.
