i've played both ff7 and ff7r for 30+ hours apiece in my lifetime, never finished either one somehow

crisis core, two hours in...

is this the best ff7 game?

i feel like i get what SOLDIER is now

they really are all like, comic book heroes

that i guess all went crazy by the time ff7 was happening

I thought Crisis Core was better than 7. Although i played it on release so maybe my opinion on it would change after another playthrough.

Wasn't a fan of the gameplay or story lol. Though I did beat it.

I think I could understand the gameplay better this time.

Yeah I lost interest when I got to Midgar and I was beating normal encounters by using 1 Jump.

Then I tried doing higher level content and it was impossible because you can't break their limit gauge fast enough to avoid just dying to their limit. You can play perfectly and dodge every attack but they're still impossible if you're too low a level.

So I noped out after that.

In the game's defense I was trying to do content that was like 20 levels above where I was or something but it still rubbed me the wrong way.

As a kid I got crisis core on psp without ever hearing of Final Fantasy

I thought there were 6 prequels in the same universe before this and the 7th game is named 'crisis core'

The side missions are all about finding ways to break the game harder than you already have to keep up with the enemies. It's like FFX side content.
