You don't need to be an "Elite" to try and enjoy wine tasting. To me, it just sounds like AceMos has a case of sour grapes (again).

I kinda want to be a wine bartender now just so I can bullshit and say things like "it tastes like adopting a 6 year old that you take to the park to play catch and realize they massively lack hand eye coordination but you're proud of them anyways"

Thats the point. If wine tasters cant tell top-shelf wine from low-quality, then the distinction should be based on which flavor the most people enjoy, like most other products and having a wine cellar full of vintage wine should be treated the same as the guy who collects rare types of Kit Kats (if Kit Kats didnt have expiration dates).

It does taste better (subjectively) and definitely tastes different. Price makes no difference. Anyone with a palate can tell the difference in a blind test. That doesnt mean you have to like it (its subjective) or buy it (its expensive) but saying all bottled water tastes the same is a delusional take. Youre just 100% wrong. Most people can easily tell the difference. If you cant tell the difference thats a you problem.
