It usually takes a nuclear fuckstorm to see anything change or get overturned. One time, enough users @'d Sballen about a user who openly peddled antisemitic conspiracy theories, undercut the Holocaust and I think might have dropped a couple slurs, but who only got a suspension. We're talking multiple threads of users @-ing the dude and saying their piece, initially to a lot of backlash, until the dude caved and banned the user. That course of action, of course, isn't viable outside of the most extreme of circumstances, where the mods have clearly fucked up and enough people are genuinely incensed by it to push for action. Whatever issue you have probably isn't going to be resolved, and the most you can do is talk about it and hope enough people commiserate with you. We used to have a moderation appeal system, but after an overhaul that gave us the option to report posts for trolling, the ability to appeal moderations was removed. ... Copied to Clipboard!
