LoveLikeJazz 09/11/23 8:04:25 PM #9:	I never thought about this before. I suppose if you think about "home" as a place, a la "Walmart", it would be like saying "I want to go Walmart." Obviously that's grammatically incorrect, so why is "I want to go home" correct? "I want to go home" sort of uses "home" as an adjective... I believe. Maybe it's more of a direction like the above poster suggests, but it's funny because we generally don't think of "home" as a direction but rather a place, like Walmart, and then like I said it doesn't make sense. So I'm really not sure what to call it.
