I guess I'm also surprised that despite the terror she apparently was in the raytan era, Terra only managed three last VI standings in 13 contests.

I am pretty confident if Edgar never won he would probably have more too

but yeah that group of four seems pretty tough and Kefka just has dominated the new era but he finally won so maybe its time for a new challenger

for my early years with SMFFFC I absolutely refused trading, I would only pop in, save Celes, then moved on to my next FF6 remaining

If Locke wins, I'll be more on board with helping Celes in the future (or even if he loses another final, I guess).

Though Sabin would be great too if people ever tried giving him momentum.

A Gau or Mog is also acceptable.

It's always been strange to me that Shadow hasn't done better because I felt like he was pretty popular back in the day.

I guess we outgrew his appeal.

but he's really not a high priority for others so I just let him go

I think BlackDra90n used to be a reliable Shadow saver and I have some impression on vchar support but maybe I'm making that up

Shadow is low key one of the biggest bitches in the franchise.

Back to Celes. Hardly anyone participating now was around for her first win. I think she has the best shot of any character to repeat.

Though I wouldn't say no to Ultros!

Celes's OldSTATS number is 79.82%, so she's been pretty consistent across the entire contest.

Also, Celes entered the top ten in the NewSTATS, and the character she knocked out was...Red Mage.

FFVI was pretty strong back in the day! They were basically what FFVII is now. In the year Edgar won, for instance, we had 4 FFVI characters make the top ten, and there were a couple other years where they got 3.

Celes's elimination annihilates the top 10 predix field. 5/7 of the remaining clean savers had her in, as did the board average. The two remaining users with a clean slate are captaincanadian and Inviso! Congratulations!

If vis is to go perfect then the next 4 eliminations must be Barret, Laguna, Seymour, and Ghido.
For cap, the next 4 elims must be Barret, Laguna, Emet, and Ghido.

Will either of them make it to 10/10? We can only hope not.
