I'm thinking YUCK.

I love them.

I actually use them in other meals too.

I'd like to try them cuz I love salty things and seafood, but I can't seem to find a pizza place that even offers them, since everyone hates them so much.

They're great on weinerschnitzels, but otherwise I hate them.

I'm down for a slice with anchovies every now and then.

I'm due. Pass me a slice.

I refuse to buy pizza from places that don't offer 'choves. I don't always want the topping but them being an option is required.

I like em. Most people have a strong opinion. Seems like everyone either hates them or loves them

I've tried anchovies straight before (i.e. not on a pizza)

I love fish and sardines and such, but holy shit they were just pure salt

I like them enough, but they have to be used sparingly.

I love anchovies and they're good on pizza too but not my favorite.

This was my experience. I decided to try it once and jesus, just absolute gag worthy levels of salt. Blech.

Instead of whole anchovies, try anchovy paste. So the flavor is not so strong

They're very rich, I'll give you that. I like very bold flavors like salami, pickled onions and garlic, so anchovies are an occasional treat I like to have on pizza.

It's like Vegemite; you use anchovies sparingly and it helps in combination with other flavours. I wouldn't rawdog an entire tin of anchovies like I would eat a whole jar of pickles onions, they're too strong, but in combination with other pizza toppings they add a zest that I really enjoy.

I like them on pizza. Also the Malaysian thing of deep frying them and serving with fried chicken.

Id rather put Worcestershire sauce on my pizza

I don't mind them but I wouldn't purposely get them.

I got em on a pizza in Italy, just way too salty.

It's pretty good, but too salty.

The worst part is, even if you try to bail out, try to take all of them off the pizza and just have it as a plain cheese pizza - you CAN'T. The whole pizza is still salty. Ruined.

Even though I like anchovies, I still order them on the side.

So true. The oily salt soaks into everything. A travesty of a pizza.

it's basically just salt topping.

if you don't have anchovies around, just throw a ton of salt onto your pizza. bam, same flavor.
