as far as attack on titan goes, it's not done yet, but it's close enough

I loved the shows you loved and I hated Madoka, but maybe that's just me... I watched it dubbed and I was recovering from covid at the time so that probably didn't help but yeah, maybe you'll feel differently as you get deeper into it.

Madoka dub is horrendous. One of those ones that's so bad that I don't really even considering it watching the show, and I prefer dubs when possible.

I don't consider the dubs of Madoka and From the New World possible.

I would say the dub for just about every show in this topic that been recommended more than once is good to great, it's really just those 2.

Uhhhh, maybe Fate/Zero isn't a great dub either? I've never seen dub but I rememeber some questionable clips, it's been year and I can't say first hand, so take that worth a grain of salt.

Yeah I've basically struck out on every series I tried doing dub and FTNW was one of them. I'm sure there's good dubs out there, I think I have Konosuba dub lined up to watch at some point in the future.

I love the Konosuba dub. I can see why someone wouldn't, but for me it stands out so much that I could watch the same episodes dubbed and subbed back to back and get just as much enjoyment.

From the New World dub I have a particularly visceral hatred for because I literally purchased the bluray, started watching, and after watching one episode I sold the bluray on ebay. Maybe a big gun jump considering I could still watch the sub, but I was....mad, lol.

I'm pretty sure this is just a you thing. Madoka's dub isn't great , but the only other people I've seen bash it that hard hate dubs in general.

There are certainly worse, but it's by no means good at all, I can't stand it. Also the original voice acting is VERY good, so there's a consideration of gap here.

I hated Madoka overall too, and dubbed is definitely worse, but subbed is not much better. It's mostly nicer because you're not hearing the words directly.
