About the same whether it be the Patriot Act, the Iraq War, or the many other shit things that resulted from Bush's handling of the event that were still being dealt with 2 presidents later. I find that people tend to rewrite things regarding how bad Bush was and it honestly needs to stop, dude's near the bottom in terms of Presidents. But yeah that's the baseline, then work from there I guess.

Well, we already know he has been lying about it constantly. He insists to this day that he was there at ground zero with a bunch of his workers heroically doing everything he could to help in the aftermath when there is absolutely no evidence anything like that happened. All while commenting (incorrectly) that Trump Tower was the tallest now and that he knew all along the Bin Laden was a threat to the country.

In other words: He would have told outrageous lies, tried to use the tragedy for personal gain and self-aggrandizement, and not given a damn about anything else. Just like he did when he was not a politician.

Trump has always been a corrupt, incompetent liar, from the time he entered public life. The Presidency just gave him a bigger platform that impacts more people. Of course he couldnt handle this crisis or any crisis well. Grifting and branding are literally his only skills.

The guy thought we could cure Covid by injecting Lysol into our veins and wanted to deny blue states care because the Governors there were mean to him. I cant see him calling for unity after 9/11. Bush at least did that-before he politicized 9/11 for years to scare people into a second GWB term.

Trump has never been a left winger or a right winger. He has no principles. Trump cares about Trump, and that is the extent of his concerns about policy. He will do what it takes to get him in front and nothing else. That is why you can even make the comment-because he donated to the Clintons when it suited his purpose. Then he discovered a swath of GOP voters that would respond to rage filled populism and immediately used them to get where he wanted to go.

A truly good response to a national tragedy requires someone who actually cares about the public trust. Trump is the exact opposite of that.

He absolutely would have emphasized the enemy, but there is no way he would have called for unity of all Americans. It would have been:True Patriots like my supporters will fight this fight against those that hate our freedom. His whole message is based on hating those that oppose him politically-to see them not as opponents but as enemies. There is no place for a Donald Trump presidency in a unified country, then or now. He would def. rail against the enemies without, but he would continue to do so against the enemies within too.

GWB is a terrible human being. That guy politicized 9/11 continually-it was his ticket to a second term, and he knew it. But I was living in DC during 9/11, and in the weeks following Bush was saying some pretty inspiring and unifying things. It didnt last, but with Trump we wouldnt have even gotten that.

They only succeeded in their fake attack because of the weak democrats, socialists, RINOs who made up hoax after hoax after hoax about me and now they, ask anyone, they feel like fear like never before because I'm the president and i know how to handle, the, my uncle was a genius, big IQ, truly great great man, the best and he told me "Donald man, you should be a military strategiest because you could solve this in like a week." and I said "No I have a businsess to run" but now perhaps maybe some would say I can do both and maybe that's a good thing some would say or maybe not, but what matters is that I have succeeded in making America great and God is smiling down, on the best America, the best people, truly great.

Yeah, Guns did a really good job with this. It doesnt have anyone calling Trump sir or approaching him with tears in their eyes, but otherwise it is pretty perfect.
