What's Cancun Cruz doing about it?

Setting up to be the last weekend of this shit. Basically 3-4 months of absurd temps with raw temps or heat indexes average above 95f for weeks on end. We had a period of 15 days where the raw temp did not dip below 80f. The people running this state are fucking evil. They've done nothing to fix jack and/or shit when everybody's at risk from this shit

our substations in tarrant were replaced after the 2011 groundhog day blizzard but we had power outages a lot from the early 00s to then, so I imagine most places without updated infrastructure (i.e. rural or exurban areas) got the full fuckin experience in 2021, and whatever didn't get updated then has probably melted this summer

any good campaigners in this state would run a grid-focused platform and promise to fire every person in high leadership positions at ercot and restructure the state's energy system and oust the pieces of shit who want to curb alternative energy and leave us with more energy gaps while it takes them ~5 years to fire up a coal plant

fuck this state's management
