Traces (and artifacts) are so much harder to grind for than in Genshin. I'm gonna be grinding Nihility to max out Kafka and build Luka for ages.

Haven't even touched the new event yet, probably should get that out of the way before the SU update hits.

God I am so desperate for that Lynx party cleanse ult.

The worst feeling in this game is getting a nearly perfect relic with ideal main and 3/4 good substats and then every single level up upgrades the one stat you don't want.

If I'm reading these performance notes correctly, you will no longer have to update the Star Rail app on mobile whenever a new version comes out.

This is a pretty amazing amount of content. I guess that's what's to be expected from a new permenant game mode.

Sounds like Aurum Valley is also permenant with the normal rewards cycling, just not the event rewards.

They absolutely do not intend for you to touch any difficult past 3 out of the 5 difficulties until you have unlocked a bunch of buffs.

okay i beat difficulty 4 on the first try but it was... a scrap

(and the two characters meant for this mode are clearly DHIL and QQ, which happens to work for me)

i went abundance, qq/bronya/sw/nat

but after seeing that, there's zero chance difficulty 5 is possible unless there's a broken path that i missed

maybe it's remembrance, everyone always says remembrance is broken

Rememberance depends on if the boss is immune to freeze or not. The SU7 deer doesn't so it gets absolutely destroyed. The others, I dunno.

my take on new SU is that it's even better than old SU and i hope they add more thingies like this

but i wish it fit into the weekly rewards structure and dropped relics too

why is the good SU less rewarding

With how difficult it is I imagine they're just wanting to get people onboarded at the moment with the completion rewards and leveling up the passive buffs, since it's extremely extensive. Even if you did have an insane set of character to beat the Difficulty 5 stuff, the sheer amount here would probably take several dozens of hours to finish at minimum. There's plenty of time to add more later once people can actually beat the content lol.

Right now there's no way to spend Trailblaze Power on any part of this, and once they add that I'm sure they'll add individual run rewards.

My Welt gear is still this melange of mediocrity. It's not bad, but it's not great either. He's sitting at like 50% crit rate and 80% Crit Damage which is fine when I'm running him as Sun DPS support, but not if I want to make him a main DPS.

I should be able to buy his Signature LC after my Fu Xuan pulls so I'll start prepping him for that by farming him some crit gear. Thay also means I can adjust my gear plans for Yukong to her support build rather than her Sub DPS build, she's more versatile that way anyways.

I wanted to level up Sushang before QQ after Yukong, but maybe I need to reconsider. Who knows when we'll get another single target Physical unit who isn't Nihility, though. Maybe Argenti will be just as busted for single target physical as Danny is, though.

A lot of team comps seem to want Pela but I just don't care lol.

The combination of being a galaxy brain character who was difficult to calculate for theorycrafters, lack of easy access to C6 where she scales very well, and being an Erudition unit that has very weak LC options did her irreparable damage. Then also Quantum got a huge boost with Silver Wolf and soon Fu Xuan.

And tbh I still don't know if she's worth building at low eidolons, though I'm a Seele haver so I don't really need to worry about it.

I still have other units to build though. I'm in the same boat with my Welt needing attention, Luka needs talents and relics, Seele has an embarrassing 62/79 crit ratio, and Gepard has 0 speed substats so is still too slow.

C, E its all the same.

No HP or Def roll on a DPS unit will ever compare to getting an EHR roll on a unit who doesn't use it.

I think my Seele has like 19% EHR.

With her Traces and her Talent, she only needs 7% Crit Rate from substats, WITHOUT a Crit Rate body piece, to reach the 70% Crit Rate threshold for Rutilant Arena in her Transcended State.

Speed traces huh. Does any other character have those already?

Seems worse than damage% which you can only get from sphere but it sure will make building her a lot easier not having to rely on substats!

Im up to the 3 seals part with Imbibitor or whatever so hopefully Im close to unlocking the event Ive got a week or less of to complete
