The worlds are drab looking, I got lost in the second level because nothing was very memorable. The best part is the story. Edit: theres other weapons? Which means 2 as a designation, E as Executioner. Basically, 9S is the best Scanner of all of them. The issue is, he is so good that he eventually finds out classified Intel about YoRHa, anything from finding out that humanity is extinct and their job of protecting humanity doesn't exist or finding out that 2B is 2E and is partnered with him specifically to kill him because he keeps hacking into classified files, or something else that requires his death. 2B, ever since the first time she met, has cared deeply for 9S. Every single time she's had to kill him, she's been heartbroken. She's tried calling him Nines(which 9S is pretty insistent on, it's kinda adorable), tried being friends with him, tried shutting him out, she has tried just about everything but every single time(it's in the triple digits) she ends up killing him. Sometimes 9S fights back. Sometimes he sneak attacks her, or gets the drop on her, but he always dies. Hell, one time she led him into a cave with hopes that she could kill him before he could react, though they were attacked and during the attack, 2B was infected with a virus. 9S hacked into her brain and saw everything. Every single time she had to kill him, it was painful for her. This time, once he had figured out who she was, she handed him her sword. She saw herself as defective. Not made for the job she was created, and she couldn't take it anymore. She wanted to give him even a sliver of what she had taken from him. 9S paused for a moment, before turning the blade on himself. 2B, in a panic, asks him why as she cradles him in her arms. He says because he always enjoyed their time together. He had fun, being with 2B. Every version of him. He knew it would always end up like this, so he told 2B not to hesitate anymore. Because even if he dies, he'll meet her again. It won't he the current him, but he's happy knowing he'll meet 2B all over again and be with her every single time until it all happens again.
