I'm soooo tired of people acting like 2B is some emotionless robot(lol) with a cold personality that only cares about the mission, nothing else. The entire game makes it pretty clear that she's only this way because it's her way of coping with having to kill the person she loves triple digit amounts of times. Other material goes into detail that she's treated 9S like a friend, that she's been kind to him, that she's called him Nines, and nothing stops him inevitably doing the same thing that requires her to kill him in the end. So she just shuts off everything. Shit, the entire game long she ACTIVELY helps people in sidequests. She's a kind hearted person that puts on a shell of a cold hearted bitch just to cope with what she feels she has to do to save humanity. And, shit, people also think she knows humanity is gone. If she knew that, she'd never do what she does to 9S. The only reason she does what she does is FOR humanity's sake. If they were dead, it's all for nothing. So even it she thinks that, she's in heavy denial.
