Not just cameras, but people watching live everything that is going on and will report someone if they see something is up. If so how lenient are they? Are they cool as long as the work is being done or do they take note of every little thing?

They put up surveillance recently. Was apparently due to theft in the break room and from lockers

I don't know how much someone might be keeping track of them

Current job has none which is surprising considering its a restaurant. But my previous ones did and yes they had people watching through the cameras constantly.

Surprisingly, no. The only cameras we even have are for the parking lot.

I worked at a Casino, so yes there.
And a Wine store, so yes there. Ironically the wine store abused it more.

The place I am at now I do not think there is.
Funny you should as low-key looked today.

I work as a cabling and network tech so depends on the site. Most of the time it's either a renovation or new construction so we're the ones putting the surveillance infrastructure into place.

I work at a hotel casino too, so yes we are being watched. And our surveillance loves busting employees. Last night I was just fitting in a few chest reps in the fitness room waiting for some people to leave the pool area and they caught me and reported it to my boss.

As far as I know, most of the cameras at work are to monitor access points, but some of the access points have a view of at least part of my workspace.

Everyone itt has FAILED this unannounced security test. Youve all been scheduled to attend classes to resolve this issue. HR will contact you shortly.

I once had a cellphone stolen from me, and they could see the person pick something up.
But they "couldn't tell what it was" It was quite clearly my phone based on what led up to it.

Also, my car got hit in the parking lot, but again they were no help, because "The Camera's don't reach out there" Which is probably true because the cameras are mostly there for the gaming commision.

Other then that it wasn't too-too bad.

I think the wine place misused it more.

Yes we have surveillance and yes it is constantly monitored, but theyre mostly concerned with the perimeter of the site.

I manage the nighttime housekeeping crew for the hotel and casino. Not union, been working at the same place for 21 years now. Will be moving on after this year to move to Nebraska with my wife and stepdaughter.

This would drive me insane, quite literally. I have anxiety and hate being watched or scrutinized.
