I totally forgot while I was making them (and initially guessed Gourgeist for Ghost) that Misdreavus was basically the first and most iconic user of the move Perish Song, so Misdreavus or Mismagius makes a lot of sense for the pick. The Vocaloid characters associated with each voicebank all have unique designs and their designs are also free for use in art, music videos, etc. without needing to pay any sort of licensing fee, but any lore associated with them is primarily made by the fans and not the company themselves, so there are a lot of different interpretations of each character. Like I said, a lot of the best songs and music videos are simply uploaded to YouTube by their producers. Then, if the song is good and/or popular enough, they might get paid by CFM for those songs to be used in official media like the Project Diva rhythm games, the recent Project Sekai mobile gacha game, or (I guess these days) added to Miku's section on Spotify. Having one of your Vocaloid songs be popular enough to be made an "official" song is a big deal, but even the ones that aren't recognized as official that you might stumble on while searching on YouTube can produce some real gems. Aside from re-using Meloetta with its Pirouette form (which would be lame) or really stretching the idea of Kommo-o and its clanging scales stuff being loosely sound-based, Sirfetch'd was the only choice for Fighting that made sense with the leek connection. Yep, I had guessed Magearna for Steel, though granted it was one of the guesses that I was very unsure about because I couldn't think of any Steel-types that had any sort of sound connection. All of my guesses are back in post #4, way back on the first page of this topic. Since Dragon is the last one tomorrow and I know I got that one wrong because Altaria was used for Flying instead, that means I finished with a final score of 9 of my 16 guesses being correct.
