Direct quote from earlier in the topic:

The whole spectrum is only ever even discussed from a white lens and defined from that same lens even tho it shouldn't be. Thata why white liberals often have terrible takes on conservatives displaying any viewpoint that isnt ideal white liberal core.

On this website it's even more skewed. MLK himself would be called a conservative on this site bc he was an evangelical.

If you're going to play dumb and pretend you weren't implying

I love how you quoted me; proving what I said was accurate, nmabd then switched goalposts to "implying"".

Given the actual context being someone directly accused me of calling individuals white my statement states. It is fact that many of the boards users, especially those from 261 are young snd white however; i did not accuse anyone of being that directly.

Read my words carefully.

Yes, actually. Voting against Trump for an election cycle because of how historically awful he is doesn't mean you're suddenly a Democrat.

That's not what I said.

Well-regulated capitalism, investment into public infrastructure, minimum wage increases, government welfare programs

You know, all things that conservative ideology is fundamentally opposed to.

So if a guy supports those but is pro life is he conservative?

If that "cultural entity" is literally defined by what they believe in and their approach to dealing with certain situations, it is perfectly acceptable to generalize them based on those beliefs.

Im talking about black people, specifically those leaning conservative my guy. Rethink your words because it ain't a good look.

You're basically trying to argue that not all dogs are canines because sometimes they're cats. That's what happens when you care more about how words are being used rather than what they actually mean.

No, I'm simply staying facts based on reality, not this fictional analogy. There are conservatives who vote Democrat. Regularly. Not just for Trump.

You are trying to conflate them so you csn more easily generalize the African American community and its more conservative views, to the service of no one but those who would exploit such generalizations. Its lazy, its reductive, its incorrect and no analogy will change that.

Actually out some effort into understanding black culture and why the behaviors that are observable are there. This is the equivalent of bringing up crime statistics without looking into the economic situations that directly influence them.

Defending lil' Kyle should say enough.

Saying Kyle acted in self defense isn't defending him, its just stating factual reality.

Way to prove that other guy's point exactly, considering you're now telling a black person that they need to understand black culture.

And I no longer have the energy or patience to address the rest of the nonsense you posted.

There is a point to be made about how black voters have often made up the more conservative or moderate wing of the Democratic Party. See the 2020 primary, and how Clyburn's endorsement and African American support won South Carolina for Biden, or Eric Adams winning in NYC.

It is in some regards a testament to how (rightly!) toxic the GOP has become viewed that they can't win more of these voters. The Republican Party has worked long and hard to alienate black voters, even many who consider themselves more conservative.

That user consistently acts like they know more about topics than they clearly do, but will never acknowledge this fact. Its best to not engage them.

I said he needs to put effort into it to draw the correct conclusions. Thats true.

See?
