The worst symptom I ever got from "withdrawals" was being mildly irritable. Guess I was lucky or wasn't smoking enough. I'm a current smoker, but I'm not one of these types who need to be high 24/7.

People use it as a crutch, much like others use alcohol or sex. Anything can be bad when you do it too much.

I am a daily user, and when I'm not at work odds are I used it. Am I physically addicted? No. Am I mentally addicted? Yeah, probably. It's become such a part of my daily routine. I don't get withdraw symptoms when I take a break though. I have been cutting down though and plan to do it more as a special occasion thing.

My issue is it made me too complacent with doing nothing. I am too content being able to lounge around the house on weekends doing nothing I started it because it helped social anxiety.

Yeah, I had the thing where it makes you sick for a while. No way to beat it but a hard, long detox. Lesson learned. No more edibles. Otherwise, Im not ever quitting because I shouldnt have to and Im not doing anything even remotely bad (or illegal). Any place that doesnt allow marijuana is not 21st century. Now we have Bidens half measure that didnt decriminalize it.

If I stopped then it was like my system noticed how messed up it was from the alcohol. Otherwise I was fine.

wait until you see the conversations about quitting alcohol. discussions about tapering and how many beers they can drink during the work day without getting the shakes. people can literally die from the withdrawal or have seizures.

Yeah, I've tried it twice in my life. First time I felt nothing. Second time, I just remember throwing up a bunch (was told drinking at the same time was a terrible idea). Had no desire to try it again.

I've never had physical symptoms quitting, the hardest part is getting over boredom. That passes after a few days.
