But yeah, my dad died of pancreatic cancer. The second he was made aware of it marked the last 3 or so weeks of his life and he was never to see the outside of hospital walls again. Just hearing more stories about pancreatic cancer, in hindsight it's like damn, life pretty much writes you off at that point.

I hope that if his medical bills became too difficult to manage for his family one of these right wingers with bottomless cash to spend on propaganda like Joe the Plumber stories would have helped out - if only to avoid the negative backlash of the guy that pretended to be terrified of Obamacare passing of a horrific disease in medical debt.

I think you and I talked about it a little at the time, but yeah, for my dad it was less than a month after diagnosis. It's a brutal one.
