That's an aspect I would use for throwing off investigators. Look man, the cops were able to identify all sorts of people from both the Michael Brown and George Floyd protests who did even the slightest thing that might have been considered violent and charge them. Hell, look at how they've tracked down a large number of the J6ers, all of whom have been unimportant chuds. Boebert gave recon tours, the freedom caucus were all meeting with the on the ground leaders of the J6ers, Mo Brooks was wearing body armor under his clothes like he was motherfucking Roose Bolton. Yet none of them have been taken down for their very clear role in the attempted coup. There were people in positions of power who helped plan and enable this, but the only one being gone after is Trump (at least so far as sitting political figures involved in it goes).
