It's one of the most highly contagious diseases in the history of mankind. It was never going away. I just don't understand the denial of that fact, we were never going to control it. Even animals were catching COVID from us.

It was never that simple.

My whole family had it this week, including my 5-month old kid. We got it from a family member who traveled to provide us child care for a week. It was the first time any of us had it and it fucking sucked, wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I never see anyone wearing a mask at this point. Pretty sure I'm not the minority.

I live in cali and I havent seen a single mask.

Ive maybe seen 5 masks in the last 2 years that werent worn by nurses / doctors / other occupations that are required to wear them.

i've seen 1 person masked up here in NJ lol

Elementary schools here shut down through Wednesday I just read due to outbreak.

I'm the only person I ever see wearing a mask. Because fuck it, it's not even an inconvenience and I literally haven't gotten sick since COVID started in the US while wearing one, where I would usually at least catch a cold couple times a year before.

I didn't even know dis was happening again...wtf????

I guess its da consequences of living in Florida sadly, but tbh we've been keeping an eye on da tropics instead of covid lately

Yes, it's a part of society now, so societal norms must change to coincide with it. Keep up with vaccines, mask up when in large crowds to minimize spread. This isn't fear, this is just change.
