I enjoyed it.
I don't really like racing or racing games, however after watching and researching it, it's not one of those lazy "based on true events" and the crux of the story is all based on accurate facts. The embellishment is just like fake candidates from the GT Academy and probably the love interest. The movie did kind of make me want to explore the world of racing, ngl. Was pretty weird seeing a Playstation opening credit, I briefly forgot what I was watching lol. The end credits has real footage of them designing GT. The actual Jann Mardenborough was his own stunt double in the movie, so all the high intensity racing scenes would have actually been him recreating his own earliest races. I thought that a nice touch. my buddy wants to go see it. it's not something i'd suggest going to see and would just wait for it to go to streaming but glad to hear you enjoyed it so it's not just a waste of money.
