Fuck yeah! About to see if it's actual trash or if people didn't give the movie a chance because of Ezra.

I thought it was a perfectly acceptable film. But I am an unapologetic capeshit fan. I see every Marvel and DC movie in theaters.

It's fun. Special effects are garbage. Ezra was good but I'm still glad they're never gonna be the Flash again cause fuck them.

Honestly, it wasn't all that bad. Not a masterpiece, but not bad. The first 30 or so minutes were a slog, but the rest of it was pretty good

Honestly, in terms of entertainment, it's my 2nd favorite superhero movie this year after GotG 3. Haven't seen Blue Beetle yet though.

Thanks for the heads up. I tend to have some free time at work over the weekend, and can use their good internet. Was wondering earlier if I should find something to watch. Might give it a go if I have time.

Jesus fuck. The opening sequence was intense as I've ever seen in a superhero movie. I don't know if it was because babies were involved but i was uncomfortable as hell watching that.

I loved this scene. It was hilarious and stupid and awesome and just what I want from a superhero movie.

Batfleck is so cool. I really wish we would have gotten more of him :(

story was okay but the CGI was crappy like i expected. Ezra Miller wasnt bad in it even tho most of their jokes were lame...

I loved the music in this movie, felt like a big throwback to the 90s/00s superhero flicks with the classic giant orchestra/band behind it.

Most the movie was pretty meh though, Ezras Barry Allen is sooooo annoying in the DCEU. The more serious, mentor Barry is the only time he is tolerable.

Entertaining movie. Trash tier CG though

I do have to appreciate a big mainstream capeshit flick where the message is that you can't have everything you want, and you don't always win.

Also appreciated it in Wonder Woman 2.

It definitely had potential to be great, w/ Barry coming to terms and accepting his mother's death and even having to accept that the entire Michael Keaton Earth was just doomed to destruction by Zod, but it was just hampered down by so many other problems and unlikeable characters

I dont care about CG at all and think it's just as valid and artful as practical effects.

Having said that, The Flash's CG work is the first time it's made me think less of a movie. It's pretty rough in some ways I dont really understand. I get that it's a long movie and tons of CG work needed done, but there are some big moments that seemingly received no polish.

^I enjoyed it, btw. Kara and Other Barry made the movie for me.

It wasn't BAD... it just wasn't very good either. CGI was horrid at points and I didn't think the story really went anywhere, just kind of seemed... there.

Also, Ezra and the kid who played young Flash both look like total dorks when running. Next time get someone who understands what the words "run" mean for a character whose like, main thing is to run.

It's actually not terrible but damn the CGI looks like fucking Looney Tunes

And yes, Ezra's run is so bizarre. Like an alien with tentacles for limbs trying to replicate how a human runs

CGI was so bad throughout the movie. The CW show looked so much better on whatever minimal budget they had.

I'm in love with Supergirl.

I mean, as much people hate on this, I cant imagine its worse than WW84.

It was an ok movie. Maybe I'm just jaded or whatever but it felt like someone went through a checklist of how to make a generic and inoffensive movie and filled out all the boxes and then that was all the effort in the creativity.

I really liked the movie, but I'm also a huge comic book nerd and am pretty easily pleased when it comes to entertainment.

I can honestly say that the only comic book movies that have released since the start of the recent renaissance that I haven't at least felt like I got an adequate amount of enjoyment out of are Morbius, Fantastic Four (2015), and Wonder Woman 1984.

I'm watching it right now in the background while I work, and about 20 minutes in my biggest take away is that the CGI and special effects are terrible. Ezra's face is not blended into the suit well at all, this scene with the hospital collapsing ... everything looks really plastic and cheap. How the fuck was this a 200+ million dollar budget. The idea, of course, iswe are in the perspective of the Flash, he tells Gizmodo. Everything is distorted in terms of lights and textures. We enter this waterworld which is basically being in Barrys POV. It was part of the design so if it looks a little weird to you that was intended.

Personally, I found Ezra Miller to be just as annoying in this film as they've been in every other film featuring the Flash. Supergirl (woman?) was good. Michael Keaton is still Batman. I was also amused by the George Clooney cameo. Overall, it was roughly as good as a low-end Marvel flick but it beat the shit out of most of the now-defunct DCEU.

This - there are a lot of valid criticisms of both movies but I don't recall a superhero movie ending with things exactly the way they were in a while...

Plus the fact that Barry had to actively do something to kill his mom (take the tomato sauce can out of her cart).

This one one of a few very well done scenes in this movie. It was beautiful and sickening and worst of all, inevitable.

They could've really made something of this one if they just stopped the suicidal ambition of DC.

Just finished it and am honestly surprised it got dumped on so much. It was actually pretty entertaining and the ending was fantastic
