once you get into a routine of exercise you'll feel worse if you don't stick to it.

get some weights. getting a gym membership and telling yourself you'll go is a waste of time. you need the lack of excuse staring you down right in your room with you.

Part of the reason that its hardest to start is that step one for most people is cutting out stuff that you know you shouldnt be eating. Sugar is one of the first suspects here and quitting sugar is often compared to quitting nicotine. The stuff that people eat releases endorphins and you feel off when you suddenly cut it out.

Exercise makes you feel good, but exercising doesnt actually start to feel good until youre finished detoxing from all those chemicals and stuff.

No its not lmao thats bullshit. If you make lifestyle changes that significantly impact your weight over a long period of time, taking a week vacation will not erase everything youve done.

Taking a week off after losing weight, you ain't going back on it. You end up regressing right back to your old habits.

That's all I drink for the most part. Haven't had soda in years, I cut back drinking alcohol pretty much entirely as part of my diet. I drink the occasional sparkling water or hot tea, as well as unsweetened iced tea.

Right now I'm controlling calories by eating less, choosing better food and not drinking alcohol. It's working, about 0.5-1lbs a week. About 30lbs total. But man, I just do not feel very satisfied. Drinking lots of water while eating helps with feeling full, but it doesn't really last.

You should look into volume eating, if you haven't already.

Strong coffee in the morning can help reduce appetite til the late afternoon

Have your one meal for the day be around 4-5pm and make it a big yummy one

I used this method successfully to lose a lot of weight. I didn't manage it every single day but most days a week

I use caffeine pills and take one in the morning, works pretty well. My issue comes around dinner and late night.

If you're making your first meal around 4pm, and make it a big one, that should keep you full til at least 9pm right?

You might get a little peckish after that but not starving or anything.

I lost 30lbs just by eating in a 6 hour window. Hell yeah there are times where I look at food and think "Fuck, I'm hungry" but then dont eat and occupy myself by doing something else like play a video game. Once you stay on track for a week, you adjust and it gets much easier, espeically if you cut out sugar cuz it's like a heroin addiction

Also have a goal to motivate you. Like mine is to fuck more asian chicks. That's why I'm losing weight. Keep your eyes on a prize.

Cutting out soda was a thousand time harder than cutting out alcohol (for me). I used to drink like 4-5 Dr. Peppers a day and decided to quit when I was 19. You definitely FIEND for a soda for the first month or two, but now everything sugary tastes way too sweet to me.

maybe that's why you feel miserable.

i'll never understand why anyone thinks cutting anything out they enjoy is necessary to maintain a healthy diet when in fact it might even end up being counterproductive in the end.

instead of 4-5 ever thought about dialing it down to 1 a day? and further down the line ever thought about going from 1 a day to 1 every 2-3 days etc.?

Honestly, you can break that hunger feeling after a day or two. I've gone like 6-7 days without eating anything before, and after day 1, you don't get that feeling anymore. Now, 10 years later, I almost never get that feeling.

Playing totk has caused me to lose weight but one could argue that there is pain in playing it.

Like spending hours trying to reach a lightroot and then reading the easy way is ride the back of the dragon which travels past it.

The hunger pangs should really only be a thing for the first several days, after which your body adjusts to a lower caloric intake. It also takes time to learn not to overeat (as in, if you start feeling full, you overate), which is helped if you graze on small but healty snacks like an apple or some veggies twice a day or so between meals.

And yeah, losing weight is hard. You're trying to fix years, if not decades, of accumulated damage to your body by getting rid of excess fat and improving your muscles and cardiovascular system. Anyone claiming it can be easy is hoking some nonsense.

So far light cutting out most suger(sub 20-30g, sticking to a sub 2k calorie diet and staying physically active has been working for me.

I also pretty much only drink water now along with zero suger soft drinks.

Buying a a expensive self cleaning/purifying water bottle has almost paid for itself the past month.
