I think people who say mid are mid. Typical trashy people who act like they are elitists.

What do they mean when they say it? Because mid on its own has zero meaning to me.

I've seriously had several videos pop up on my youtube the last couple days where it's typical millennials or gen zers or whatever who just come across as d-bag snobs to me.

I dont understand why you would have a problem with it.

I am naturally adverse to that kind of culture. I can get using it as a joke. But pop culture gone wrong imo. It's like Jay Z. I never liked his music either. It's so mid imo. I can understand liking the classics and real hip hop. But Jay Z panders to that kind of mentality. I'm not really a mainstream pop culture hater either. Just certain things I am adverse to.

It's saying something is average or mediocre with the fewest syllables possible. People just latch onto easier ways to do things.

I admit if anything annoys me its fam.
But thats partly because the people using the term are just annoying overall.

The words and slang en vogue constantly change. If one is a native speaker of the language, the new additions are easy enough to understand via context.

My lexicon is easily influenced by what I hear around me, so I started using mid.

I feel like people who use that word are mid is the point. They are seriously judging things as mid or mediocre when it's what they are.

I don't see or hear it much, feel like a lot more people say "bet" now.

I'm not sayign everyone who uses it is a jerk. I can tell the difference. I probably sound old saying this and I am in ways but too many people all about living a shallow lavish lifestyle in general. The ones on youtube just seem that way. I get they are kids. And it's the same people and it's them judging all of us. I'd hate to know what they think about the people I associate with. They probably don't even know we exist.

I guarantee the people I associate with are not mid by any means either inside or out. Neither am I. Or even low key. They aren't part of the mainstream like what you see on the internet that's true. Most people on CE are younger than me, so that makes sense. Isn't the average age like mid 30s now? I'm 42

My friends actually are on youtube. So I shouldn't say that either. They are part of mainstream culture but not like that. I can't really explain in detail here because they are all different. They aren't really typcially what you see that's true.

I don't mind the slang so much. It's more how it's used and by who. I feel like I can see right through these people some of them.

It's like Cardi B and that tongue roll she does. That's her doing that. Hipster culture in general. Not every trendy person is a hipster. And not every hipster is a jerk. But some are. If Cardi B likes doing her tongue roll so be it. It doesn't bother me. Other people it really depends and I'm not being a snob that way or a snowflake.

It's weird you say that because I'm not even who you think like I said. It's something to do with the internet in general where most people here are that. It's a delusion. The internet is full of trolls and nutcases. It's the norm on the internet for people to hate everything. When I'm not saying that here. Just certain things I don't because it's true. It's phony. Most of these people I'm talking about are losers and any ounce of truth offends most of you. You seriously get mad at the dumbest of things. It makes no sense other than that. If people don't like me here I don't really care. I just usually think what I do. The internet has created a false reality for some people and it's where all the losers go to roost and hate on anything actually good.

Most of my friends or the people I associate with are not typically on here like I said. They are actual talented and intelligent people. A lot of what you see in the media is narcissistic and fake.

Maybe it's because I'm not around younger people often, but the only place I've seen mid used is on this site.
