What's even more depressing is some years I get average on annual review and some I got extraordinary graded. The raise was the same for each. So now I say fuck it and do exactly the amount of work they ask me to. Either way, the raise just meets or fails at surpassing inflation.

A 2% raise at my last was the breaking point.

No, since I was only employed by the company for half of their year, they felt I only deserved half a raise and half a bonus.
