Think the most I ever paid was like 250 for two people.

I've done around $60 at a Brazilian steakhouse, or sushi + a sake flight at a Japanese place. There's definitely a point that comes sooner than later where the chagrin at the cost of it all outstrips any extra enjoyment I'd get out of eating someplace 'fancy'.

My lady and I rang up ~ 140,000 for fugu in Asakusa, Tokyo. That's over $900.

For just myself, something like 50-60 when I wanted to splurge one time. I sometimes pay for 2, but it rarely comes out more than like 60 as well.

$80 for me and the wife, really good steak house

a little over $120 for two (my meal cost like $20-30)

I ate at La Villa Mahana on my honeymoon in Bora Bora. I cant remember exactly. I know we got the wine pairings so Maybe $400.

$840 at Nouvelles Cuisine for 5 persons couple ago.

almost $250 at Bern's Steakhouse in Tampa for one

Nowadays I don't live near any particularly high end ones unless I felt like driving a hour from where I live.

Probably the restaurants at Disney World that we had reservations at. Liberty Tree Tavern and Tepan Edo were a couple hundred.

I think around $350-400 CDN for two people. Two different spots: mains and a glass of wine each at one of the highest end and internationally famous local spots, and a seven course plus a glass of wine each at Damas in Montral. That was FILLING and cool.

I gave a friend who was working on her birthday a $100 tip as a gift. Got a single bill and put it in a cheesy/funny birthday card, and left her a message about not reporting it with the rest of her tips so it wouldn't get split up into the tipshare system and none of it would end up back with me or with the rest of the assholes who worked at the restaurant.

Made for about a $138 steak dinner for me.

I plan to take my wife there for our 10th anniversary. I think we're coming up on our 8th anniversary next year. I live like an hour away.

But anyways, I've covered 1k+ bill before for a group of family. For just my wife and I I think the highest I paid for $600. It was approximately $150 per person + $150 wine bottle + tax + tip and there might have been desert I dont remember. It was celebratory of a new job, moving back to california, and our first date night out in 3 years since having kids.

Probably not much more than $100 AUD for 2, definitely less than $200.

In dollars it probably works out to around the 500 mark per person.

But some of the most expensive places Ive eaten in, I didnt have to pay.

I think about $400 for 2 on my honeymoon in Hawaii at a place with a set menu.

About $280 for two.

I cant remember exactly, but it was something like $70-80 maybe for a steak dinner for myself in a highly rated restaurant in the Hilton I was staying at in Buffalo. I cant remember the name of the restaurant.
