They don't even bother with excuses anymore. If you catch them in a contradiction or anything all they have to do is effectively go "nuh-uh" and then purge their memory of the whole exchange as soon as you're gone.

All perceived Republican inconsistency is simply Republicans not being honest about what they believe. Plain and simple.

They don't actually care about children getting hurt (if they did, they would propose gun reform legislation like, yesterday). But what they do know is that evoking the "safety for our kids!" argument makes for an effective talking point when you want to demonize the groups of people that you hate.

I assume its bc they felt that they were being grouped in with people who cross dress. Idk why anyone would care about what others are doing and have such an issue with it

Kids can be LGBT, so this will remain for kids.

Because it has nothing to do with kids and everything to do with spite.
