I've got this wart on my finger, it's been bugging me for months. I used to have a cluster of them on my thumb, but after a while they just kinda... dried up and fell off as dead skin. You can barely tell they were there.

I've been picking at this wart just in case the same thing happened, but it was still alive inside my finger. I got carried away and yanked some of it out, it hurt like a bitch but it was just kinda sticking out. So I clenched my teeth and got a cloth, and just... yanked the rest of it out.

As far as I can tell, warts have roots that go down into your skin. I dunno if I got the whole root, maybe it'll just grow back, but I got some of it y'know.

I had three little warts in a row on the back of my hand when I was 7 or 8. I distinctly remember, over a long period of time, chewing those mf'ers off until it bled. Guess who has no warts almost 30 years later?

Why are you guys not using something like compound W or going to the doctor ffs?

should be saved as a last resort. some of them are quacks.

compound W is always an option (science is good).

My blood blister dried up and flaked off last week.

Ive got 2. One under my foot and one on a finger. Both are frustrating

Something similar to this happened to me. I had a couple warts on my fingers that I think lasted a few years and finally I just got something sharp and popped them and pulled them off and they never came back.

I found that wrapping them in duct tape for a few days causes they to just fall off basically.

There was some blood, and there was a gaping hole in my finger.

I had two on each hand years ago. I used to take nail clippers and savagely cut them right out of my skin but they kept coming back.

Went to the doctor and had them frozen two or three times. Hurt like a motherfucker but it worked.

Digging them out is less painful than having them frozen or burned out imo

Yeah there are over the counter remedies if you can't get insurance... also make sure you are keeping the area clean, covered with a band aid that you change frequently, and disinfect regularly.

worse one i saw was a mutilated body speared with tools but mods took care of that picture fast.

I think it's safe as long there's not much blood, and no internal organs shown.

But this is just my preference. I love wart removal vids, blackheads popping, and even trypophobia pics because they invoke that tingly feels.

Yeah, it stands for wet fart. I got moist flatulence trapped in a skin bubble and I had to dig a hole in my hand to ventilate the fecal contents. Really gave a new meaning to "smell my finger" tbh

Oh yeah for sure. I was concerned the OP might have been grounds for moderation already tbh, I've been modded for describing my experiences in taking a shit with a bit too much gusto. Writing about tearing off bits of my flesh, plus a picture of a bloody hole in my hand? I figured that would have been crossing the line for sure.
