andel 08/09/23 7:59:15 AM #1:	now that 261 has been shut down for months i feel like most of us have migrated to ce among those that didn't already post here. seems like a lot of users from 261 have had trouble acclimating to ce with many warnings and suspensions and a few bannings. how do my fellow politics board users feel about ce? how do you feel about the election that is looming next year? how do you feel about trump finally getting some consequences for his neverending stream of crimes? how do you feel in general? --- I am thinking about just walking into the river now that Megaupload is gone and condoms are in porn.-Fubonis <cite>andel posted [p:975345698] in 261 on ce ... I'm all for stupid jokes, but when there are 5 topics made by 5 people, I don't know why someone wants to create a 6th topic on top of them. And I agree with what others here have said: trolls aside, there was a nice little core community of well-informed and decent people you could have serious discussions with. Even if I didn't agree with someone, they were usually knowledgeable enough that their posts/opinions were still worth reading. Can't say the same thing about CE at all. I also really enjoyed reading people's perspectives on the different laws in the states/countries they lived in. Can't get that from reading a news article. One thing I dislike immensely about CE is how easily some serious topics can be buried behind pages of moronic threads in no time at all.
