The contents include David's battle with PTSD after Afghanistan and his stay in a psychiatric hospital. The aim is believed to be to discredit his character. The source is unknown, however, rumor has it that the US intelligence community or David's doctor are the only possible sources after the county sheriff(?) said he didn't do it. The people already dont trust the government so having "deep state" going around trying to discredit him actually does the contrary. Also military personnel and PTSD are like peanut butter and jelly.
