FWIW, the minor involved has apparently been pseudo-stalking LK at conventions. Obviously it doesn't justified being groomed as a minor, but that's not justifiable behavior towards someone who doesn't even associate with the groomer anymore.

Not even sure what these allegations are about - sounds like people are just upset that people don't immediately denounce others tangentially in their friend group fast enough.

What a lot of people don't realize is that when shit like this happens, the last thing the victim usually wants is for it to go public. You don't immediately come out and say "I AM DISAVOWING ALL TIES AND RELATIONSHIPS WITH X PERSON BECAUSE OF THEIR ABUSE OF Y PERSON". That's just poor form and incredibly insensitive. This shit takes awhile.

The actual shitbag here is Christopher Niosi, who worked with TFS for a bit. The victim seems to be upset at TFS because they continued to associate with Niosi. Whether or not they knew of his abuses at the time is unclear.

Per LK's/Martin's statement, he apparently barely kept in touch with him, but was the one who confronted him about the accusations. Niosi then called him screaming and crying for an hour, then Martin cut off his friendship.

I mean, I'm going to wait and see if anything comes out of it, but after what happened when a few people tried to cancel Vinny of Vinesauce to "get back at him" basically with extremely shaky "proof" in 2021, I hate to say it but I also have a bit of a hard time taking things like this at face value without more than one person's accusations.

I realize what I said sounds rather oof, but that whole situation left me jaded on this sort of stuff.

I still remember the Vinny situation lol, I remember Red Bard pulled a "dude trust me" In terms of getting evidence from the "victims" and pushing the whole "believe the victim no matter how shaky the evidence" shit. She was basically pushing that Vinny was 100%, undeniably guilty. What made me sad was that I used to enjoy her stuff, even frequently visited her bootleg stuff Facebook page. After that, I lost any interest in her videos lol. All that said, I wasn't on the "he's innocent" wagon until the "proof" started surfacing. His innocence became more clear when, after saying he was lawyering up, the accusers basically backpedaled basically saying "uh no...we didn't say any of these accusations."

On topic, I don't really watch anything made by these people but all I can really say is, wait until the whole picture comes to light before making judgement.

Wtf, LK's statement really does clarify a lot of things. Somehow things LK were accused of was actually something Shadyvox did instead? Seems he's claiming that he broke off contact with most of the people once he learned about them.

If he's to be believed, then this is a smear campaign by Shadyvox, which is probably why a lot of the claims are flimsy

This makes me a bit sad cuz GX Abridged was pretty funny. Instead this might end up being a reverse cancelling. Ppl love LK way more than they like Shady, who's comparatively a nobody

Yeah she sounds fucking crazy. I think this alone pretty much makes this entire accusation look really flimsy. Well thankfully we can just move on and hopefully remember to never give the accusers attention ever again
