There's also been a storied history of rape, domestic abuse and child molestation in esports in general, with a lot of that coming from the Smash Bros community. Dudes have committed to partaking in gang rapes on stream before. I don't know much about Pokimane, but considering that the last guy was an alleged rapist in a gaming scene where there's a lot of people who've been arrested and charged with rape, I feel like "fixing the gaming and esports industry" isn't entirely an unwarranted position to take. And there's not much lower than she could sink to that the CEO position hasn't already sunk to in the past.
