While it's a completely different story tone, his role in White Noise suggests to me that he could do a great job with Reed's trademark struggles of dividing his attention between his work and his family.

Though the MCU doesn't generally like to get that into the weeds with characters.

While I agree he's among the best, I honestly thought everyone involved with the sequels in front of the camera did a great job.

It was the writers and directors that fucked the trilogy, and the studio executives that thought going into a trilogy with no set story was smart
