Yeah, for speeding and a tail light out. The speeding one was when I was sixteen and the cop was cool. Just gave me a warning and said to be careful, was a dangerous road and all that. He was right and I was being stupid.

For the tail light same thing. I honestly had no idea and the cop said no worries just get it fixed and I did.

Not technically pulled over because I was parked but got busted drinking a beer in a grocery store parking lot on vacation. Was in my truck and the cop came over and asked if it was alcohol... I was honest. Ended up with a citation but it could have been way, way worse. $200 fine and I was good.

twice.

when I was in high school, I had this one cop who would sometimes harass me (he was most likely racist). anyway, he would approach me and ask me what I knew about ecstasy (this was in the early 00s).

one day when I'm across the street from school, he pulls me over while I was walking, searches me, and then checks my information. when he found I had no record, he took me to school, and never bothered me again.

the second time was when I was in college.

I was still in the training period of working at an Outback Steakhouse that was opening, so we would have to work all day.

I didn't live too far, so while I was walking home, I was pulled over, and the guy was asking where I was coming from.

I told him Outback, he sees the Outback shirt I was wearing (and I assume smells the food on me), and he's like, "do you know why I pulled you over? it's because you looked cold", and then he drove away immediately afterwards.

I thought it was pretty weird.

Twice.

Once because the light over my rear license plate was out. No ticket, just a warning to get it fixed.

Again once when I stopped for gas and the cop followed me out of the parking lot saying he was told someone in a similar vehicle ran a stop sign... But he literally watched me pull off the ground interstate then get gas next to him before he followed me out. Then he asked what drugs I was on and gave me a breathalyzer... >_>
He let me go after a while, but he was pretty insistent that I did something wrong.

Yeah, because their gizmo flagged my car as not being insured.

I had the renewal email on my phone, but they still had to phone the insurance company and confirm that I was insured.

At least like 5 times lol, but I usually just flash my badge and they let me go >____> It was only for dumb shit like speeding and rolling stops anyway. I was like "Come on bro" and they were like "Ehhhhh alright. You're cool." and then I'd be on my way lol

4 times.

When I was 16, 2 weeks after getting my license, I made a left turn I wasn't supposed to.

I got a warning like 10 years ago for going 67 in a 55.

I was pulled over one time because I had forgotten to take a grocery bag off my toolchest and it was about to fall off and he didn't want me to lose it, that was cool.

And one more time, I had a tie down strap break off my 4wheeler and didn't realize it, so a trooper pulled me over and gave me a spare he had in his cruiser.

Yeah, I had like two cop cars around me, and a detectives car.
It was like I was a murderer being stopped, what was worse was my girlfriend at the time was looking at me like quite panicked.

They then told me, me and my girlfriend were invited for Thanksgiving dinner, I was fucking furious -- my Uncle, and my cousins are all fucking idiots, it was a good prank though.

I got 'em back though, I made 'em all drive three states over for a funeral of a great-Aunt that never existed, because her Lawyer was going to be reading her Will out, and they may be mentioned in it, however anyone who didn't attend would be getting nothing.

Once. Corrected myself kind of abruptly after a light/bridge where the guardrail/curb caused the road to get a bit thinner (basically causing the shoulder to close off), cop was suspicious but then realized nothing was wrong and let me go. This was I think 2012.

Once, when I was driving a work vehicle for speeding and was my first and only ticket.

Twice when I've been on foot geocaching in public parks, because it admittedly looks a little suspicious looking around for something hidden in a seemingly random location. No major problems besides being made to feel unwelcome and to gtfo.

For speeding on the way to work at 2am on an empty road.

Of course, I worked for Australia Post at the time, so... good work. Raise some revenue for the government by fining someone who's paid by the government. Net result zero.

A few times. One time I had a loose tail light and the cops stopped me. I fixed it in front of them. They started chatting me up and asked what I was into. I thought it was a normal convo so like an idiot I was like "you know music, video games, I'm in a band" etc. And then one cop pointed at my Pollos Hermanos car magnet and said "no, what are you into?" Lmao

They asked if they could search my car and held me there for 30 minutes because I said no. Then they "got a call" on their radio and said they were gonna leave me with a warning even though I fixed the light in front of them so Idk what they were warning me about at that point

Twice

Once on my bike because it didnt have reflectors and he assumed it was stolen.

Was boxed in by 3 cop SUVs because my vehicle was reported suspicious. I was sitting in it parked in front of my own house watching a game that went to OT on my phone.

They looked p annoyed when they confirmed it was my house.

There are a lot of overzealous people that report stuff in and they tend to exaggerate whats actually happening. And honestly that tends to happen 90 percent of the time. You think youre coming into something crazy and its just some dude watching a game

Speeding. Doing only 62 on a 55 in a long, long string of cars doing the same down a 20 mile stretch of road where most people go 70-80. Judge laughed at the ticket and made me pay the court fee since I'd never had (nor ever again) gotten a ticket.
