The show has always been about girl power, and some people online have been annoyed by that, you know the people who make their livings complaining about this stuff, and then get other people upset. But I think the show is embracing that and trying to get those people to watch it out of spite. In one episode, Ivy�s evil plan was to get rid of all the male trees and plant only female ones. She said that female trees give fruit, and male trees just give pollen. But she planted things like apples, which are cosexual. I think the writers of this show are clever. They know a show about sexism in trees would be so over the top, it would get those people so mad, they will hate watch. And at the same time, they showed Ivy beating up Grod, Metallo, and Snowflame (lol) all at once. And making people like Zoom or Reverse Flash (I can't remember the difference). So that is going to get people upset, upset people watch to complain.

NOTE: This isn't saying HQ is the Velma quality .

The shows been on for like 3 seasons now I think they're writing for fans of the show at this point.
