Might have helped keep it around for more than a year if it had crossplay

I've literally never even heard about this game and I like Gundam. I imagine that poor advertising is part of the problem here.

Was the game actually any good?

It was alright nothing ground breaking but a fun competitive hero shooter with shitty microtransactions but that's standard these days

True, that's the real story here. Yet again a game is going to become unplayable. More lost media.

Yeah but intrusive DRM is necessary to make sure youre not pirating the game, you filthy paying customer. So what if it makes the experience measurably worse to the point it actually encourages piracy

Yeah I never heard of it tell recently, the gameplay looked pretty fun. I don't know if I would have paid for it but if it was f2p would have tried it for sure.

Bandai or whoever absolutely murdered the steam version of GBO2 too, lol. As a company they feel about 20 years behind the rest of the world.

At launch it just lacked the roster/balancing but was getting there slowly with the updates. It's a good fun free to play game especially love how every Gundam plays.

It's main flaw was that it's really a team base game and just sucks when you get random that RQ on you. One person RQing means your screwed the whole match. The other flaws with the game is that it was slowly dying from the bad matchmaking. Unlocking characters wasn't really a big deal since they gave you many ways to get the points needed. It's just the cosmetic/stickers etc that was the problem with their transactions.

A shame its shutting down since it had so much potential and was hoping for more Gundams that haven't gotten in.
