Pretty much. I hate drinking water, and I'd still rather have it than any other diet soda in the US. Diet soda tastes like shit here because instead of putting in less sugar, they use the most artificial tasting sweetener and absolutely too much of it. Every diet soda tastes just absolutely saccharine as a result.

I've never had a diet soda I felt tasted good. The artificial sweeteners just hit different for me and leave a nasty aftertaste.

Diet Dr. Pepper. Diet Mountain Dew is the other best but Diet Dr. Pepper is more accessible.

Almost none of them use sucralose.

Coke has like one sucralose product and I think it was discontinued.

Well I can't speak for all "zero" sodas, but Coke Zero in particular was created to be closer in flavor to Coca-Cola Classic than Diet Coke was. They both use the artificial sweetener: Aspartame, but Coke Zero also includes Acesulfame Potassium as an additional sweetener. Coke Zero also uses Sodium Citrate instead of Citric Acid. I'm sure there's other differences in the recipes, but those are the main differences that are actually listed in the ingredients.
