I want to do a TV show (streaming) remake of Dukes of Hazzard. The show is set in the fictional rural Hazzard County, Pennsylvania in modern times. The car is a 1969 Dodge Charger, sky blue, with an American flag on the roof. It will either be called the General Grant or the General Sherman.

Bo Duke will be a blond twunk who is gay. Luke will be either black or mixed. Daisy will be trans. Cooter will be a Muslim. Other than these changes the characters will be almost identical to the characters in the original.

Boss Hogg will be the elected mayor who does very little mayoring and instead uses the position to enrich himself and favor his business (he owns the local bank). The cops are still the bad guys, because forty years later that's still a thing. Only they're less incompetent and more mean, petty, and corrupt. Roscoe doesn't have a basset hound, instead it's a pitbull.

Every scene with extras will have a expansive range of people, to show that this rural town is still a very diverse place.

The conservative rage from how this show is run will probably be so intense it will collapse into a singularity and can be used as a source of clean energy for hundreds of years.

Hire me, Netflix.

Go watch the original 1975 action comedy movie "Moonrunners" that "The Dukes of Hazzard" was based on. The show is just a family-friendly sanitized version of this movie. Even Waylon Jennings was the balladeer in the original movie. Here's the trailer:
