I am really sick of the brainwashed anti-vaxxers spouting off, and the far right propaganda machine that has put this in their heads and doesn't mind people dying in order to create a wedge issue.

There was a moron on the politics board who spent many posts trying to convince me that Hank Aaron, one of my favorite players of all time, died from the Covid vaccine. Mr. Aaron was 86 years old when he passed away. It is obviously ridiculous to link his death to the vaccine at that age, and so many far right folks were saying it that his wife had to come out and say that. But these folks now latch onto any famous death or heart health issue to push their ridiculous anti-vax agenda. It is really annoying, and it is also costing gullible people their lives.

She doesnt understand the concept of confirmation bias. Like I asked where she heard some of the crazy stuff she believes, and she said that a friend told her. What could have been the cause? An athletic 18-year old that is Lebron's son with good genes doesn't just have cardiac arrest. Maybe he never got the vaccine and got covid and it screwed up his heart? I remember Lebron showed his vaccine hesitancy a couple years ago. Or maybe he does a lot of drugs? Cardiac arrest at that age is rare.

I was a high school athlete who suffered cardiac arrest more than15 years before covid. I didnt do drugs. Shit fucking happens, especially when your under a lot of stress and pressure to perform. I can only imagine what kind of stress this young man has on him being who his father is.
