Here's my GameCube copy that I just cleaned probably 5 years' worth of cat hair from (I won't bother explaining that). Too bad I don't have my original GameCube. I'm going to pop it into my Wii, which has not as much cat hair on it, but a little.

I remember Pokemon Colosseum taking up like 90% of a regular card, and was adamant about not deleting it. I'd literally start a new game from scratch and lose the save when I stopped to hold that save.

Beautiful title screen

One of my favorite Zelda games. I personally think it had the best dungeons of Zelda game.

It's one of the few games where you can pinpoint the exact moment that it starts getting real good

im guessing you dont like the game

tp is in my top 3 zeldas (oot, mm), only thing i'm not fond of in the beginning is the goat herding thing but other than that, i never thought the opening was boring or dull or a slog and i've replayed the game plenty 100% completing it or doing it with only the least amount of required items etc

i dig the graphics/artstyle too, funny how what you don't like is what i like lol

I thought it was okay. But the opening was objectively slow and drawn out and the graphics looked like fuzzy messes very rapidly with the onset of HD graphics shortly thereafter.

Wtf, Link has no bed in his house. I didn't notice until I saw something that looked like a rolled-up sleeping bag on his horse saddle. I began frantically looking for his bed, even checked the upstairs, and no bed. Link has downgraded in this game. I think this is the first game where you start in a house that has no bed (some have no starting house: LoZ, AoL, OoA, OoS).

Twilight Princess is overrated as hell. People got mega hyped up to play "realistic" looking Zelda, but ironically its gritty mid-2000's graphics really date it, and in the end its general structure is one of the most blatant Ocarina knockoffs of the 3D Zelda era.

Twilight Princess is overrated as hell. People got mega hyped up to play "realistic" looking Zelda, but ironically its gritty mid-2000's graphics really date it, and in the end its general structure is one of the most blatant Ocarina knockoffs of the 3D Zelda era.

tp is fucking weird in terms of being overrated because it was super big when it came out, but not long after people started to accept how mediocre it was while reevaluating Wind Waker. Over the past few years people are starting to try and swap that again and push TP as an unfairly maligned gem.

It absolutely was a case of people bitching about wanting more OoT and then the monkeys paw curling. It's ugly, there's very little to do in it, it's got a bunch of items that are next to useless outside of the dungeon where you find them, and by far the dirt worst first quarter of any zelda game ever. The best thing I can say about it is that it probably has the best character narrative of any Zelda game in the form of Midna, but that's not enough to right the ship

These qualify as bunk beds, I suppose. They are the only beds I have seen in the game so far, but I haven't been in the mayor's house or the goat herder's house.

Jaggle and Pergie seem to be doing pretty well for themselves, as far as Ordon Villagers go.

But now you see all this 20-somethings on Reddit whose first Zelda game was TP, calling TP their favorite Zelda.

It's simple: if anything it's underrated. Just like how OoT was some people's first Zelda, TP was some people's first Zelda. The difference is that the people who played OoT first crapped on the people who played TP first and then got appalled when those same people still preferred TP despite OoT's "clear" superiority.

Being a child is one of the most powerful reasons for what makes up a particular generation's views on what the best game is.

I forgot how good projectile weapons feel in this game. The slingshot goes Wh-PSSHHH!

Being able to run and swing your sword is something Zelda needs to bring back.

100% agree. I still enjoy it but it is definitely my least favorite 3D Zelda.

I always thought they should come up with the new idea of heart halves. Meaning it only takes two of those to gain a full heart. I felt like even four heart pieces was a lot.

After playing for nearly 4 and a half hours, I have reached the Forest Temple. Sheesh!

I know the game's graphics have not aged well at all, but I still really like the game. One of my favorite pre-BotW Zelda games.

Ah, who could forget Link climbs vines like a grandpa in this game.
