When the Mass Effect Legendary Edition came out I bought it at an electronic store on release day for 399 DKK. The price it was being sold for on the PSN store on release day, and still is when not on sale, was 579 DKK. That's a huge saving for having physical capability. I had a similar saving for Crash Bandicoot 4 on release day. Nevermind that you can make more money back if you then sell them on later on. A couple of games is all it will take to make up the difference of price between the the physical and digital PS5, and then its pure profit after. I figured I had to have one because I had a few PS4 games on disc I wanted to get around to playing on it. But even on PS4 I bought mostly digital, and since I got PS5 at launch I have exactly 1 PS5 physical game: GOW Ragnarok that my wife bought me last Christmas. I hope physical media continues strong in the coming years-it is good for gamers who want that to have the option. But my game library is almost fully digital now.
