I only buy brand new for most things as its often the easiest way to do it.

Books are one kind of media that I still sometimes buy secondhand.

Had to do this earlier today.

An audio CD I was wanting is listed at $199.99 on Amazon.

Went to Ebay instead and bought it used for $6.

lets ignore all the obvious issues with this, like speedy delivery, the need for someone to buy it "new" for it to then become "used", etc. With the insatiable appetite for media that the public has, i give them 1.5 weeks before they are fully out of stock.

edit: the way TC frames it, it actually is an interesting discussion of macroeconomics 101. Especially his example of using a substitute of Stranger of Paradise for FF 16. No different than someone substituting potatoes for rice.

Truth is, I really don't know how to shop for music these days.

Some sites that are lower in price seem a bit shady.

Also, I only want 320 kbps or flac for audio and most don't share those details upfront.

Fair enough hell Im going to kick myself in the long run for not completing Madlibs Medicine Show since getting the Brick set is stupidly expensive and a few titles between #7-13 are more expensive then others.

Hell trying to get copies of CDs with the Cubic U single Ill be Stronger is kinda fucking harder to track.
