Any advice?

Looking forward to my weeks off assuming I don't just get called in for OT every day

DO. NOT. WANT.

Very happy that I have always been able to work a job with a simple schedule. Makes things way easier to plan around.

This would be ok with consistent hours but constantly switching between days and nights feels absolutely horrible. Also it looks like team 3 works 1 less day

Find a job that won't constantly tea bag all over your Circadian Rhythm?

Looking forward to my weeks off assuming I don't just get called in for OT every day
Holy fucking shit, it's not enough that they're having you constantly work different times for 12 hour shifts all for the promise of 1 week off out of every 4, they can renege on that deal at any time when they need OT work?

Seriously, what fucking monster designing this shit?

EDIT: Reading more into the "benefits" of this, it seems obvious if companies wanted 24/7 coverage they could just hire more fucking people so there's more shifts to be covered, and pay the people on the overnight shift more to entice people to take it. And you know, actual vacation days to use when employees want.
But nah, let's just force everyone to be the overnight shift half the time! And if you don't spend that 4th week off just trying to recover from the past 3 weeks of hell, hope that week off actually aligns w/ when you'd want the vacation time. It has a 25% chance of randomly aligning, so...yay?

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

Had a job where I had to work 12.5 hours 6 days a week. Wasn't a life worth living. I literally just went home ate showered went to sleep woke up and went straight back to work. The day off I literally just slept.

There was no point to making the money when I couldn't do anything with it. While yes, that particular schedule does give a full week off once a month, there really is not justification for a 72 hour work week, and even the 4 day weeks are still 48 hours which is simply excessive.

There are definitely people who can be content with this style of work, I know plenty of people who love OT, I'm not one of them.

Also... lol team 3 has one less day despite it attempting to claim they all work the same amount of hours.

I dont mind working the night shift (worked it for about 2 1/2 years) , but the inconsistency might drive me crazy

that being said, it might be kinda cool to change things up every once in a while

Never heard of this but do not want.

The weirdest schedule I've ever worked was relatively normal, just a weird mid-3rd shift kinda deal where I worked 4am to noon because production has shifted to frontloading everything in the morning.

Nowadays I'm back on the 8 to 5 grind and it's fine, consistency is nice until some unexpected bullshit comes up like a car manufacturer recall.

yeah, I'm thinking I'm back
