Ive been platinuming the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters. Just finished FF4, but I wanna take a break before I continue onto FF5. Ive narrowed down my choices to these options:

Guardians of the Galaxy was a blast, I loved it. Batman Telltale was solid also.

GotG was a ton of fun and unfairly criticized when it came out. Characters/dialogue were often better than the movies

Of that list I've only played Kena: Bridge of Spirits. It's a great game. I'd definitely recommend it.

I would recommend Kena as well. I got the platinum on all 6 Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters a couple weeks ago. Final Fantasy VI was the most frustrating of the 6 games because of the Master Gambler trophy.

My friend really liked it and loaned it to me, but I was the opposite. Combat didn't feel weighty, it was buggy, and the dialogue was just too much. Fine for an hour and a half movie, grating for a 12 hour game. (in my humble onion)

For what it is worth, Kena was the game I was leaning towards prior to making this topic. But I want to try out all of these games at some point.

A little surprised at how well Steins;Gate is doing.

Thatll be a pain in the ass. At least they only require you to learn 50 rages with Gau instead of all of them. That wouldve probably gotten a Nope outta me.

The only thing I played on that list is Guardians of the Galaxy, and I can vouch for that being a great game.

Guardians is just okay on the gameplay front (but not bad, IMO) but the story and characters are really, really good.

Idk any of these games but based on cover art, A Hat in Time looks the most fun.

Ive heard nothing but great things about it. The problem is it always seems to be like the 3rd or 4th option for me when Im looking for something new to try. But Ill definitely get to it at some point.

Guardians of the Galaxy was a lot of fun, and furthermore it's pretty quick with almost 0 replay value unless you're a hardcore Platinum/completionist. Which I'm stating as a positive, cuz honestly fuck single player games that incentivize you to play the same shit over and over again to get dumb new stuff.

Only played Catherine from that list but I'd definitely recommend it. Watched a playthrough of Telltale Batman and it was on the higher end of Telltale games.
